Golden Globes 76th edition | Top Red Carpet Looks
The 76th Golden Globe Awards took place Sunday night, in Beverly Hills, California and hosted by the famous actors Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg.
This event is always a fantastic opportunity not only for the cinephiles but also for the fashion addicts to fill their veins with some inspiration while watching their favourite actors doing their magic on the red carpet.
I will not focus on the nominees or the winners of last night’s gala, but I will show you my favourite and less favourite looks fresh from the Red Carpet.
Top 10 Best Looks
No.10
Danai Gurira in a vibrant Rodarte dress, probably inspired by the coloraturas of the year #LivingCoral
No. 9
Julia Roberts in Stella McCartney – not one of my favourite outfits of Julia but this seems like a tribute outfit to the women empowerment and, in this case, Julia is a damn good ambassador
No.8
Patricia Clarkson in Georges Chakra Couture – the winner of the Best Actress in a Supporting Role in the series Sharp Objects is wearing this gorgeous couture gown, also in the vibrant colour of the year. I loved the fluidity of the materials, the mixture of coral and magenta. Just beuatiful!
No.7
Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton – simple, classy, sophisticated, perfectly describing Emma’s sparkling personality.
No. 6
Emily Blunt wearing a stunning Alexander McQueen dress – beside the amazing details of the dress I am madly in love with Emily’s attitude. Since she got out from her limo, stepped on the red carpet with a priceless attitude and self confidence. You go girl!
No. 5
Gemma Chan in Valentino Haute Couture – well this is something I would really wear on a daily basis. It doesn’t matter that you have to walk alone on the street or you can’t share a taxi because of the XXXX size of the dress, but it’s WONDERFUL. So delicate, sexy, feminine. Love it!
No.4
Bradley Cooper in Gucci and Irina Shayk – THE PERFECT COUPLE
No.3
Sofia Carson in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture – so in love with the print of the skirt. It has a vintage vibe but also quite modern and sexy given the bare back design.
No.2
Sandra Oh in Stella McCartney – was the definition of elegance last night. The contrast of the white dress with her dark hair just made her look like a real life Snow White. So dramatic yet so simple and classy. Loved this look!
No. 1
Dakota Fanning in custom Armani Privé – and here is my favourite of all. I won’t say that it’s the best of all, but for my taste, this was the most beautiful look from the red carpet. This custom Armani dress perfectly contours Dakota’s body. The perfect composition of colours, textures, elegance and sophistication. Just PERFECT!
