The magic tool

Hey, babes!

It may sound extreme, but I’ve noticed that nowadays people tend to interact better with good looking people rather than interacting with.. let’s say a natural person – a face with wrinkles, pimples and dark circles. While living a busy and chaotic lifestyle our natural beauty sometimes fades away… so in this case make-up is a very important ritual. A beautiful make-up can contour your natural beauty, bring up your best features and has the ability to change your mood and self confidence. I’m not taking about a Kardashian inspired make-up with large quantities of foundation and contouring techniques, but a hydrating cream, a suitable foundation for you skin type and an organic lip balm are actually a great protection for your skin during the day. We will discuss more about daily make-up rituals in a future article!

What I want to point out is the fact that a good make-up doesn’t only require skills but also qualitative products and tools. You already know all the cosmetic brands that can be found on the market (affordable, luxury, dermatologic, organic etc) but what about the tools we’re using to apply the products?

Did you know how what an important role play the make-up brushes? Every make-up artist will recommend you to invest in some qualitative brushes to properly and easily apply the products on your skin. How to choose a good brush?  I  prefer natural bristles for any brush, not only fullness but also softness.  It is also important to see if  the brush hair has a cuticle. It’s very important because that grabs pigment and holds it until you put it on the face.

Now I use a brush set from ZOEVA which contains professional brushes for face and eyes made of both, natural and synthetic bristles. The set also came with a very cool brush clutch which I sometimes use as a regular clutch.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about ZOEVA brushes and if you have any other favorite brand that you use.
