Breakfast in style * GIVEAWAY
Hope you’re having a great week and you’re ready for a new inspirational article. Today I’m going to tell you about my favorite make-up brand, my favorite products and about a cool challenge that Alexandru Abagiu (the official make-up artist of Lancôme Paris Romania) sent me.
#false lashes effect
I’ve always been one of the fans of Lancôme make-up products, especially the mascara. I have used Hypnôse for so many years until I have discovered Grandiôse, which is even better for my lashes. It creates the false lash effect with only one layer applied. Now I don’t even need to wear lash extensions, even if my lashes are quite short and blonde.
My next favorite products are the Advanced Génifique face cream and serum. This two are must haves for every woman who wants to maintain her youth and the firmness of her skin. Even if I have 23 year old, I have discovered some expression wrinkles any they are not aesthetic at all. I’ve always been scared of wrinkles, especially at my age, but given the circumstances (pollution, stress, chemicals in food, few hours of sleep etc.) I had to find a solution to prevent their extension. I use the serum only once or twice a week, to make sure that my skin is not getting used to the formula.
Ohh I’m in love with the texture of L’Absolu Rouge. Soft and luxurious, this hydrating lip color can be found in 44 shades and they are all so adorable. Its texture and shades are just perfect for summer, completing your fashionable outfit.
And also, you need to try the new #MatteShaker. I’m already addicted to that one! A water-in-oil emulsion that wears comfortably without drying out your lips. Long lasting and with a matte effect? How cool is that? Wait, you need to see the shades… #addicted
The most difficult part from the entire make-up process is the foundation and this is the most important one. If you don’t have a correctly built basement, the “building” won’t last too long. Well, I have a few foundation brands I really like and one of my favorite is Teint Idole Ultra Wear. It delivers medium-to-full coverage and leaves a natural-looking, velvety matte finish. I’d recommend you to apply a moisturizing cream before using the foundation to get a more natural look and to avoid the “mask look”. My favorite aspect: color stays put all day long— which means retouch-free and transfer-resistant coverage.

Before Alex sent me the challenge I couldn’t imagine that contouring could be so easy. When I was watching the online tutorials of all those super talented girls I was amazed and I never thought that I could sculpt my features only with different shades of foundation and a smart foundation brush. By following every step that Alex gave us, I have managed to create a beautiful and natural look. These are the following steps:
- Mix you favorite moisture cream with some drops of Tein Idole Ultra Wear to create your own formula of Tinted Moisturer. It will make your foundation easier to apply and the result will be translucent.
- Hide your little skin imperfections only with your foundation (one with high coverage as Ultra Wear) only by softly tapping with your finger on the spot you want to cover.
- To get a professional sculpted look you will have to apply the lightest shade on the center of the forehead, nose and on the center of your chin. You can also hide the dirk circles with this shade. Apply the intermediate shade to contour your forehead, on the nostrils and along the mandible’s line. The last but not the least is the dark shade, which you’ll apply on the lower cheek line, on the eye temples and under the chin (only if this area has to be corrected).
- Don’t forget to BLEND! BLEND! BELND!
